SOCIAL EDUCATIONAL FARM

The educational program consists of a wide range of proposals, some of which are carried out directly in the laboratory and aimed at learning about food through the handling of food and the discovery of nutritional principles. For other activities, students are brought directly to the company. The main purpose of the educational farm is to be able to combine effective technical and scientific information on food production and processing processes with a passionate testimony of the local rural reality. On the farm, children will be able to attend various educational paths such as the one on small farmyard animals or on the harvest and will be able to later experience what they have learned in the laboratory. The educational offer is intended for school users in kindergartens and primary schools.

"Al Luogo del Giulio" farm also collaborates with the Azienda Socio - Sanitaria of Pordenone and local institutions in the creation of educational training and autonomy courses for people with disabilities. The most significant opportunity is to teach a trade, thus offering a real possibility of job placement. The inclusion of those who work there is encouraged and positive processes of self-esteem and self-recovery are induced. The open and less restrictive work environment allows you to develop the ability to manage emotions and establish relationships with the external environment. The single project action makes it possible to offer help to families, thus also improving the attractiveness and reputation of the local system.
